About the Book

The thirty-five papers in this festschrift, in honour of Dr. Ravindra N Sharma, Dean of the Library at Monmouth University, West Long Branch, New Jersey, USA, attempt to analyse the different aspects of South Asian Librarianship.
Highlighting the wide-ranging contributions of Dr. Sharma towards the development of library and information science, the contributors address issues concerning library and information science education.
