About the Book

A Cauldron of Chaos - The Deliberate Dismantling of America brings the events that led to the most controversial election in history to light. Dr. Durham does a thorough in depth analysis of the Trump phenomenon. As you read this book it becomes clear that there were forces helping to shape the outcome of this election in frightening ways. If you have been wondering like so many others how did this happen, then get this book and see just what happened. But most importantly this book is a must read so that something like this never happens again.
About the Author: Early life Lawrence Ronald Durham was born in the small town of Passaic, New Jersey on August 20th, He preached his first sermon at the age of 16 while also playing bass guitar in a group called the Amor's with three of his boyhood friends. Raised by his grandparents from birth, he learned early that if you want things in life you have to work for them. He began working at age 12 for the Poultry Market across the street from his home on Oak Street, because his grandparents were of meager means and he wanted to have the same nice clothes as some of his classmates. Durham graduated from Passaic High School in 1968. He attended Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina for four years on a full scholarship provided to him by a complete stranger. From Shaw University, he went on to Evangel Christian University in Monroe, Louisiana where he earned his Doctor of Pastor Studies degree. Activism Durham began his ascent as an activist during his pastorate of the historic First Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey, where once the legendary Sarah Vaughn sang in the choir as a young girl. It was during this time that he met the Rev. Al Sharpton during a protest of racial profiling on the New Jersey Turnpike by the State Police. From that meeting a lifelong friendship developed. It was at the request of Rev. Sharpton that Durham organized the rally held at Fort Mellon Park in Sanford, Florida on March 21st 2012 after the slaying of young Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman. Working with local churches Durham selected the park as the location after meeting with Sanford city officials, and arranged for all the staging, lighting and sound for the rally itself. It was estimated that more than 30,000 people from all over the United States, and visitors from around the world were in attendance. Durham was featured in the best selling book Suspicion Nation written later by Lisa Bloom. Religion Durham was licensed and ordained a Baptist preacher by the late Rev. Dr. T.H. Alexander at the Union Baptist Church in Passaic, New Jersey. He has been pastor of three churches. The First Baptist Church of Anderson, New Jersey. First Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey. And Greater Friendship Baptist Church in Daytona Beach, Florida. Books Dr. Durham is the author of "The Secret Power of Prayer" published by the Sunday School Publishing Board in Nashville, TN. and "Building Christian Marriages How To Keep Your Marriage Off Life Support."
