About the Author
Willie M. Boyd was born in Midville, Georgia, as Willie M. Scruggs. When she was ten years old, her mother married and moved the family to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where Boyd graduated from Stranahan High School. She joined the U.S. Army in 1987, where she served for twelve years. She continued serving her country as a DoD Contractor Employee for four years and as a DoD Civilian Employee for twelve years. Boyd graduated from Park University with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. She has two sons, William and Christopher.
Boyd is currently focusing on her hobby as a writer. She counts her blessings at every turn, and has faith in her mother's teachings that God would never "put a bit more on me than I could bear." In the strength of those words, Boyd has lived her life proudly and contentedly.
Boyd has already published one book, Dialogues with Death, 1995, several articles, and poems.
