About the Book

Detective Bradley Daggers Investigates The Case of the Great Granny This is murder in Los Angeles during the rainy season, a cold, hard winter of crime and misfortune has come to the city streets. This is the scene and the atmosphere in which Detective Daggers must operate in order to find the hand full of criminals who have dispatched an elderly woman while trying to separate her from her wealth. Bradley Daggers, is a hard-nosed Los Angeles police investigator who must contend with the beautiful granddaughter and her extremely bad tempered disposition. No part of this complicated case comes easily to this combative sleuth as he battles the elements, misleading clues, depraved relatives and bungling hit men, all bent on gaining access to the missing fortune. Gunfights and seduction top off this suspenseful mystery about modern family rivalry and unbridled greed. This novel is a classic who-done-it with a unique plot and a theme as old as time itself, voracity, revenge, and self-righteous desire are the stepping-stones that lead to murder because of the lost family gold. The Case of the Great Granny is a mind bending suspense thriller that keeps the reader on edge and wondering what will happen next. www.thomasemmonpisano.com
About the Author: Thomas Emmon Pisano Thomas Emmon Pisano has traveled the globe gaining the experience necessary for him to write the stories he has lately presented to the world at large. Since 2004, he has written a dozen novels and several books of poetry all designed to captivate the reader and transport them to a place beyond imagination. Mr. Pisano, trained as an electronics technologist, has worked in that field most of his life and was driven to writing by the need for a new form of self-expression. Surprisingly, writing was kind to the new comer and success was gleaned from the numerous pages he wrote for the many novels he has published since his first book, No Murder Too Small, was presented to the public in 2005. With a hand for the scary and the macabre, Mr. Pisano has written such suspense thrillers as the trilogy: The Giant Rat Of Sumatra, The Hot Rains Of Sumatra, and The Revenge Of The Giant Rat. Not to mention the frightening saga of an insane woman who wants to burn down the world in The Dark Days Of Eve Blackthorn. Thomas has also a knack for the rhythm of poetry and prose with the publication of his first book of poetry titled Rising Blood Red Moon, a collection of poetic works from 2005 and 2006. He also has a talent for short stories and was honored in 2007 with the Roselle - Lewis short story writing award for his piece titled: The World Must Know, a story about the Israeli War in Lebanon. Since that piece, he has published a collection of short stories titled: Wild Dogs In The Night, a volume of 13 short stories of varying lengths. Thomas Emmon Pisano has a definite passion for writing and will continue to entertain the world with his unique writing style for years to come. Thomas was born July 28, 1947 in Camden, New Jersey to an Italian American family. In 1967, he did a tour of duty in the Viet Nam war in an air antisubmarine warfare squadron stationed at Sangley Point, Philippines. After his safe return and honorable discharge from the military, he traveled and went to a hand full of colleges learning such subjects as engineering, fine arts, and short story writing. His education was eclectic and varied to suit the different roles he would play in the seemingly diverse life he was to lead years later. Thomas now lives in New Orleans, Louisiana where he works everyday on his various writing projects. One of which includes a newspaper column he produces once a month for The Seoul Times, South Korea.
