Essay aus dem Jahr 2013 im Fachbereich Philosophie - Theoretische (Erkenntnis, Wissenschaft, Logik, Sprache), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Am 23. und 25. Februar 1929 hielt Edmund Husserl (1859-1938) an der Pariser Universität Sorbonne zwei Vorträge, die die Grundlage für die 1931 erschiene Schrift "Cartesianische Meditationen" bildeten. Husserl baut in seinen Ausführungen auf die 1641 erschiene Schrift "Meditationes de prima philosophia" René Descartes (1596-1650) auf. Mit dem Ziel der sicheren Erkenntnisbegründung in der Philosophie zieht Descartes in dieser Schrift alles methodisch in Zweifel, in dem er sich täuschen könnte. Im Zweifeln und Denken erfährt er sich selbst notwendig als existierend und hat damit eine grundlegende gesicherte Erkenntnis gefunden, auf der er aufbauen kann. Sichere Erkenntnis über die Außenwelt konstruiert Descartes, indem er einen Gottesbeweis führt und auf die Wahrhaftigkeit Gottes schließt. In Gott hat Descartes dadruch einen Garanten, der dafür einsteht, dass die Außenwelt existiert und dass alles das wahr ist, was er klar und deutlich erkennt. Husserl nimmt die Idee Descartes einer sicheren Erkenntnisbegründung in der Philosophie auf und übernimmt Descartes Entdeckung, sich selbst im Zweifeln und Denken notwendig als existierend zu erfahren. Er möchte den Weg Descartes nachgehen und in seinem Sinne umbilden und weiterführen. Hier soll zunächst die Gedankengänge der "Meditationes de prima philosophia" René Descartes und der "Cartesianischen Meditationen" Edmund Husserls nachgezeichnet werden, um anschließend in einem Vergleich den gemeinsamen Ausgangspunkt und die unterschiedlichen Wege herauszuarbeiten.
