El intercambio epistolar entre Caronte y Gerión ejemplifica el viejo conflicto entre el pragmatismo político y la fuerza de la iluminación en un mundo cada vez más globalizado.

Roberto Ramírez Plata, Masaya, Nicaragua. Estudió leyes en su país natal. Se gradúa de reportero de noticias en el Koubek Center, de la Universidad de Miami, actualmente se dedica a la actividad de bienes raíces en los Estados Unidos. Ha publicado varios libros en el género de narrativa. Su trayectoria literaria ha sido reconocida por la casa editorial Publicaciones Entre Líneas, con la Distinción Pluma de Plata. También su libro La Odisea por Polifemo fue nominado al Premio de Literatura en Español Carmen Luisa Pinto en el año 2014 y en 2015 su libro Onésimo y Filemón, en un viaje sin regreso, ganó la Mención Especial del jurado de ese mismo premio.
