About the Author: Pedro Filipe Almeida Maia nasceu a 29 de junho de 1979 na ci-dade portuguesa de Ponta Delgada e reside em Coimbra. É licenciado em Psicologia pela Universidade dos Açores e mestrando em Psico-logia do Trabalho, das Organizações e dos Recursos Humanos (WOP-P), diploma duplo pela Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade de Coimbra e pela Universitat de Barcelona. Na Psicologia, é co-autor na série de livros infantis "Vamos Sentir com o Necas", que integra o Panorama Editorial de 2015 do Boletim do Núcleo Cultural da Horta e o Plano Regional de Leitura dos Açores 2014/2015. Investiga na área do clima organizacional. É também autor dos romances de ficção policial "Bom Tempo no Canal: A Conspiração da Energia", vencedor do prémio literário Letras em Movimento 2010, e "Capítulo 41: A Redescoberta da Atlântida", que inspirou o espetáculo de dança "Atlântida" e integrou o Plano Regional de Leitura dos Açores 2013/2014. Escreveu também o romance "Nove Estações", selecionado para a Mostra LabJovem 2014. Na poesia, venceu o prémio Discover Azores 2014, com "Vinhas e Epigeus". Foi considerado Escritor do Ano 2014 pelo jornal Correio dos Açores.
