Canto de vuelo, vivir las palabras que redimen el trayecto sin miedo, habitar la añoranza como clamor necesario, no dejar de ser poeta, no escapar de las grandiosas metáforas aunque sobrevenga el vacío y la peor herida; andar el canto que vuela, andar el destierro con el canto único que es el poema que uno encarna como ser y rayo de la trascendencia y forma pura del lenguaje-mensaje. Fue Joyce, quien intentando encontrarse con el mundo, descubrió las epifanías propias. Lezama hizo lo mismo, convirtió a su familia en abolengo hermoso y mítico. Los versos pueden decirnos muchas cosas inefables y hacernos volar, como vuelan las liras mitológicas y los cometas, como nos hace volar el amor.
Todo lo anterior puede aplicarse a Carlos Carralero, poeta nato, que a veces me recuerda tenuemente a Yeats o a Rimbaud y Borges, en ciertas esencias, al Heredia que buscaba rescatarse en el Niágara. Pero su escritura, al dar un giro total, hacia la causalidad exiliada (exilio interior más que el político), genera los contrastes que definen lo propio, la epifanía; lo vivido y lo desgarrado se traducen en elocuencia metafórica y expresiva, los poemas de variados temas (catarsis, metamorfosis, reflexiones, ensueños, amistades, vivencias) se conectan con un hilo conductor: el amor y la familia, la estirpe (padre, madre, abuelo), la historia feliz, el desencuentro, la lejanía. Los versos se deslizan en lo profundo, en las tribulaciones de la condición humana, con una poética dominada por símbolos y reflejos románticos y realistas, al modo contemporáneo, prosa poetizada, poesía estructuralmente libre y personal. En un poema, Carralero confiesa su "complicidad con Rocinante", pero también la tiene con Venus, Marte, Saturno, la posmodernidad o "genoma de otoño", y consigo mismo, con su tierra, con Italia, y con otras entidades que conforman su mundo interior y cultural. El poeta aborda una serie de vivencias personales, pero el tono más cálido que fortalece la sonoridad poética, lo que verdaderamente armoniza las formas y genera un canto a la vida, un canto al vuelo, es el aliento del amor, como tabla de salvación y como determinación de lucha frente a la negatividad. Hay imágenes muy certeras sobre el ser y la espiritualidad, pero es su testimonio personal en versos lo que otorga valor a este, su nuevo y valioso libro.
