Moe just wanted to enjoy her childhood and adolescence. Her days were filled with school, sports, friends, and boys. In this powerful memoir, businesswoman and entrepreneur M. L. Ginn looks back on her coming-of-age and the challenges that turned her into an adult.
Moe's life was stable until a series of events changed the direction of her life completely. A traumatic knee injury pushed her out of sports. Her mother's failing health forced her to take on an adult role in the household. A charming older man promised her love and belonging but failed to deliver.
Soon, Moe was a single mother, taking care of both her parent and her child. She was worried about the future. Would she be strong enough to handle the obstacles ahead of her?
Through her own life story, Ginn shows you that the moments that made her vulnerable, stressed, and scared were also what inspired her to provide a better life for her son. She worked hard to push through the bitterness and regret she felt about her childhood. It would take some time to heal, but Moe emerged stronger than ever and ready to take on the world.
