It sounded like a great business venture, opening an art gallery. But when Sylvester Denino tells his family that he is thinking of starting a business with his friend Paul, many people can spell trouble with it.
In the latest book by author David Wilkes, Canaries story of forgiveness tells the story of how a sour business move turned into an exemplary display of forgiveness.
For Sylvester, all he has known is working for his father's architectural company but a surprising offer for the business means Sylvester can think of doing more for his career. With a baby on a way and two teenage daughters to support, the idea of opening an art gallery named Canary seems to be the best possible option.
However, Sylvester's wife Marie and Paul and Sylvester's mutual friend, Bird, feel like this will be a disaster, given that Paul is a struggling alcoholic and has gone to jail for robbery. Sadly, their feelings became realities and when Sylvester and Paul fight about money, the end result leads Paul to drive away mad and be killed in a car accident, along with Marie.
Now Sylvester has to start a new life with his daughters and wants to do what he can to provide and protect them. Little does he know that there is more in store for their family, but it also comes with the blessed gift of forgiveness.
