About the Book

A novel by Damian Forest Light.

Set in the first person at the end of the 20th Century, a human being makes his way through the first 60 days of the Apocalypse with only himself, and nothing to lose. When Hamilton escapes on a holiday after a bad interaction at work, he finds he may be the only one who can save his own life from the peril around him. He is one of the few who will survive this alien invasion and a near apocalypse. Come, take a chance at a wild journey of one human being, whom you may never forget.

The story's about a guy who is experiencing the end of the world. He is the only one who does not know what is going on when everyone disappears; only to reappear after being abducted and placed into concentration camps, kidnapped by loyalists & space alien armies injecting microchips into everyone and separating them into districts, when a pandemic erupts. Though many escape, there is warfare on the earth against the cannibal aliens, as a nuclear rebellion takes the streets. This is the Story of a personal quest and it is the journey of a person who must at some point, choose self-preservation over the lives of others; and he must conquer his experience and learn from the inner self.

Hamilton Key survives the alien apocalypse and escapes the Illuminati beneath the sea, as he interrupts a meeting of the elite wearing scuba gear, the charade is interrupted by a bunch of Mer creatures. These underwater creatures arrive at the whim of the King known as Triton, and the Mermen rebel against the New World Order. The deal with the human elite was dismantled when humanity sold out to the Scorpion and his army of Grey Alien Martians; who transform into bloodthirsty beasts of any and every color.

A somewhat ordinary day in a rigid society turns amok, when imperfect data processor, Hamilton Key, a joker with low self-esteem decides he wants to answer back against the higher authority. Later, after alien forces demolish the world, The Rebellion leads Hamilton away from a Cannibalized Cult, hunted by the last of the military and loyalists, who are serving people and humans on conveyor belts to be microchipped. As Hamilton finds refuge on an exotic island, while the world is consumed with destruction, he is called upon to find the Scorpion and destroy him. What he encounters, is the world leftover from destruction and a mere shadow of the life he lived before. Zombies begin to burst as the Neptunian arrest the Scorpion and show up to battle the Martian with a deadly Zombie gas that helps kill the Martians and takes over the entire Earth. Hamilton must wait for the Galactic Federation to arrive on Earth eventually, but that won't be for weeks. And he must face himself and the enemy within.

Even his bad-guy boss cannot do anything but succumb to the alien forces who are taking over the planet. While deeply searching for a meaning to his life, Hamilton Key, walks through the first months of Armageddon completely alone, after getting thrown into a whirlwind of events that led him into a life of solitude for several weeks. After the world is stunned by the initial alien invasion, which leads to the kidnapping and rebellion of millions of people on the streets of Erotica, the city that burns before his eyes within ruin amidst the zombie apocalypse and an alien invasion; Light of A New Day will have you on the edge of your seat, in this first of four.
