Get set. Ready your armor. A spiritual war is on, and you are being asked to fight.
The New Testament book of Ephesians is divided into two clear segments. First, Paul presents the truths that form the foundation of a Christian life. Second, Paul shows us how these truths enable us to live out our commitment to God as a holy community of dedicated believers and soldiers in the army of the Lord.
It's only when we live out the truths of Christ that our armor begins to shine, and we become a testimony to the lost that will draw them to Christ.
Paul understood that legalism can become a hindrance to our Christian walk and that we must focus on Christ and Christ alone. When our faith hits the road, God is there with us. He challenges us to trust Him to walk at our side through every challenge we might face.
When we do, we become mighty warriors in God's army.
That's Paul's message in a nutshell, and it's vital we take it to heart.
A Word from the Author:
Paul of the New Testament is the ultimate example of what God's salvation power can do to take a sinner and turn their life around.
This book is a plan to enable you to become a Paul - a power Christian - someone able to build a better Church and fight the warfare that is our Christian walk in the 21st century.
Consider this your manual and training guide. That's certainly what Ephesians is. In the pages of this book, I've tried to expound on and clarify Paul's intent. His words were applicable to the 1st century Christians, and they will equip the modern-day Church to march to victory against Satan and his evil minions.
