About the Author: I have been in new and used vehicle sales and management for over 35 years. I started in sales and after about six years, with a good understanding of the business, I became a used car manager. I then moved up to business manager, or as it's called at most dealerships, finance manager and the slang term in the business is F & I manager (finance and Insurance) and did that for about fifteen years. I was responsible for vehicle lease and finance documentation, closing deals, subprime credit financing and selling insurances, (licensed by the state of Ohio). I also sold warranties and earned bank reserves for multi-franchise dealerships, representing, Porsche, Audi, Mazda, Oldsmobile, Chevrolet, Buick, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, Jeep, Nissan, Subaru, and Volkswagon. After that I worked for a man that owned three dealerships. I was the F & I director and responsible for training and development for all business managers (F & I managers) at the three dealerships. then on to F & I consultant where I was an instructor and trainer responsible for training and assisting in the development of business managers in many, many automobile dealerships. At almost sixty years old I moved to Florida and became an internet manager at a dealership. Now I'm retired and still live in Florida. I'm going to show you how to save a lot of money.
