Projektarbeit aus dem Jahr 2021 im Fachbereich Führung und Personal - Burnout und Stress am Arbeitsplatz, Note: 2, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, die typischen Merkmale des Burnout-Syndroms zu formulieren und Bewältigungsstrategien für Bertoffene und deren Unternehmen aufzuzeigen. Die zentrale Fragestellung dieser Arbeit bezieht sich darauf, welche innerbetrieblichen Möglichkeiten der Burnout-Prävention es gibt. Welche Rolle spielt dabei die Work-Life-Balance? Im Fokus der Arbeit stehen primär die betrieblichen Präventionsmaßnahmen, auf die individuellen, personenbezogenen Maßnahmen soll nur kurz eingegangen werden. Die Maßnahmen sollten erstmalig in einem Unternehmen umgesetzt werden, in dem es weder eine betriebliche Gesundheitsförderung, noch vorbeugende Burnout-Konzepte gibt. In diesem beispielhaften Unternehmen wird auf das psychische Wohl der Mitarbeiter vorrangig nicht geachtet, es steht die Organisation im Mittelpunkt des Geschehens. Anfangs werden zum besseren Verständnis die theoretischen Voraussetzungen erörtert. Die zentralen Begrifflichkeiten der vorliegenden Arbeit wie Stress und Depression werden umfassend definiert, daneben werden auch die Burnout- Symptomatik von Burisch (2006) und der Burnout-Zyklus von Freudenberger (1994) dargestellt. Es werden etwaige Ursachen untersucht und Möglichkeiten aufgezeigt, um dieses Phänomen zu bewältigen bzw. dieses gar vorzubeugen. Im Mittelpunkt dieser Arbeit stehen die Work-Life-Balance Maßnahmen, die sich in drei Schwerpunkte untergliedern: Verteilung der Arbeitszeit, Flexibilisierung von Arbeitsort und Maßnahmen die auf Mitarbeiterbindung zielen. Entscheidend für die Integration der präventiven Burnout-Methoden sind die Einbeziehung der Work-Life-Balance Maßnahmen. Die Balance zwischen Privatleben und Beruf strebt insbesondere darauf ab, die verschiedenen Bedürfnisse in einzelnen Lebensphasen gerecht zu werden.
