Och jag säger nästan alltid, eftersom det inte finns så många ämnen i texterna om sex element, så många är tvungna att, som i fallet med kapitel 11, kallas triader eftersom de är just det, triader. Och eftersom tre plus tre är sex... två triader läggs in och vi har, enligt uppgift, en sextett som är redo att ingå i Sexornas bok.
Men vi kommer också att se att sex skapas genom att lägga till ett till fem, eller två till en grupp av fyra... I AN 6.29 talar han hela tiden om fem saker och slutar med att lägga till ytterligare en för att fullborda sex.
Även om den här boken också innehåller suttas som ska läsas, med undantag för de sista matikas som finns i de sista kapitlen, är innehållet ointressant. Det blir allt tydligare att Anguttara Nikaya bygger sin popularitet på sina traditionellt sett fruktansvärda översättningar som tvingar läsaren att hitta på extrapolationer för att hjälpa honom att hoppa över abstrusa stycken, vilket ger den abstrakta, odefinierade, mystiska glansen.
I avsnittet om anekdotiska suttor har vi AN 6.42 med Nāgita. I den rasar Buddha mot berömmelse och dess nackdelar, som t.ex. svårigheten att kunna skita eller kissa i lugn och ro, med femhundra anhängare som inte slutar att följa dig vart du än går.
Den sjunde boken i Aṅguttara Nikāya, Samlingen av Buddhas numrerade diskurser, samlar 1124 suttor eller diskurser vars ämne är centrerat kring grupper av sju ämnen.
Den här boken innehåller suttas som ska läsas, långa suttas med förklaringar, en del av dem intressanta. Den här boken saknar falska suttor.
Härskarnas tråd återuppstår i två versioner, den traditionella där de jämförs med banditer, bränder och översvämningar, som i AN 7.7 Med Ugga, och en mer oroande variant: i AN 7.53 Nandas mor framträder härskarna som kidnappare och mördare av hennes son.

Särskilt intressant är AN 7.19: Nibbāna. Här förklaras de olika slutliga sätten att dö ut.
AN 7.24 där bhikkhusens arbete fördöms som den första orsaken till förfall.

Ovanstående AN 7.53, där en lekman uppnår den sista prestationen.
AN 7.66 De sju solarna, en intressant planetarisk kosmogoni.
AN 7.92 En värdig, där varje form av rit eller ceremoni kvalificeras som en felaktig tro som kan befria från Samsara.
Sammanfattningsvis kan man säga att det mödosamma och uttömmande arbetet med forskning och rekonstruktion inom den komparativa lingvistiken den här gången tycks ge intressant information.
Den åttonde boken i Aṅguttara Nikāya, Samlingen av Buddhas numrerade diskurser, samlar 627 suttor eller diskurser vars ämne är centrerat kring grupper av åtta ämnen, men inte alltid.
Den här boken innehåller en anmärkningsvärd samling viktiga suttor, varav några är unika, vilket gör den oumbärlig, i motsats till den anodiska ointresset i de tidigare böckerna i denna numeriska samling. Trots detta är det inte förståeligt att det i slutet av boken finns suttor som upprepar tidigare suttor med oansenliga skillnader.
