This publication has been brought about to illustrate expressions of more in depth cultural reflections of the Black experience through song and critical historical reflections. It attempts to further bring to surface relative information through pictorial reflections about the Black Experience not typically emphasized through the general public education system from a western point of focus. Sometimes, I further wonder about hearing that my grandfather was a photographer and that many people in my family before me are believed to have expressed some interest in culture regardless to their daily challenges in life.
