"Boy's Play" is the first book from "The Short-Tales Series" in which Author Josh A. Giunta pretends to launch a collection of horror tales he wrote 30 years ago and now he is re-making them for the new decade. This new version of the tales is a re-imagining but with all the glory of the originals based on movies from the 80's and 90's he loved so much in his youth. Be ready to enjoy a horror vintage story with all the ingredients you like inside a descriptive and visual formula suggested with psychological horror, blood, demons, haunted places, good dialogs and a really fluent reading.
About the Author: Josh A. Giunta was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1976, son of Marta Mastricchio, from Italian origin and Angel Omar Giunta, grandson of Italians as well, he's the oldest of two brothers and one sister. In the world of literature begun with only fourteen years old, a year he spend in 1989 living with his grandparents from his father side, his grandfather Angel was a loving figure for him, he was a major sub officer in the Argentinian air force after his retirement from the force, occupied his time studying parapsychology, numerology along with white and black magic, he has a wonderful library about this arts, so the author started a passion about this theme, devouring all the books his grandfather had, among all the books, there was one of them who specially called his attention, it was from an unknown writer called Eduardo A. Zeballos, the book was named "Introducción a la ciencia del mal" (Introduction to the science of evil). At first he thought it was a dark magic book but it was a psychological horror tale's book, it became his favorite and the book was published in 1976, his grandfather saw his passion for the book and give it to him as a gift. A few years later, back in 1994, the author started to work in a shop at the night shift, there he knew strange people, but among all, there was this old man who always came to buy a pack of cigarettes, he always dressed up in blue, he was elegant and educated, they became friends and spend hours talking in the dawn, about life and mystery. One day, this man asked him about books and the author told him about his experience with the book "Introducción a la ciencia del mal" and the man stood still, in shock. He told him the book was of an unknown author called Eduardo A. Zeballos, and so far was the best horror book he ever read. The man took out his identification card and told him he was that man, of course he didn't believe him, he thought the old man was crazy and kept talking, until the mystery old man convince him he was the real author of that book, it was hard to believe for him but in time, Zeballos brought him unedited tales and he could probe he was the real writer, so he signed the copy of his book and shared a lot of literature material from both sides, it was a coincidence of fate or what? Zeballos told the author they ment to meet, to cross their roads at some point of life and this event meant a lot in the author's life, he was marked for ever.
