A Wishing Shelf Book Award FINALIST
An idealistic daydreamer and a little group of misfits stumble upon a bizarre crime operation and find themselves on the run for their lives.

If I'd known what I was getting into, maybe I could have given it a miss and done something a little safer. Like clean out old dynamite casings. Or vacuum Uncle Dipak's Walking Dead yo yos.
As it stands, my only excitement till now is a daily dose of Bollywood P.I. (starring a senior citizen), and dodging my mother's matchmaking attempts ("no" and "wtf" don't seem to work).
When my cousin vanishes (my fault), I ask a few too many questions and get the old heave-ho from the cops. So I strike out on my own, armed with a wonky firearm and a dodgy P.I. certificate.
Only, before I know it, I'm not on my own anymore...my peeps are along for the ride. Along with a dangerous cop, whose motives are as questionable as his activities.
Thanks to some incompetent digging, we stumble upon a horrendous plot intended to take down the world as we know it.
Time is running out and there is no turning back.
And now?
Now, we have one night left before D-day.
