While our moon stops a meteor from slamming into Earth, the ensuing aftermath of the event sought to destroy the planet anyway. Meteor showers sprinkled the Earth's surface, killing hundreds of thousands while the huge rock that hung suspended in space beside our moon began changing humanity's existence forever. Invoking volcanic eruptions, landslides and inclement weather that ravaged the planet, followed by The Great Flood. The environmental destruction forced the remaining survivors underground, only emerging years later, once the tumult on the surface had subsided. It was then that people began to find out about the lunar effects that the new moon had on humans.
When humans finally re-emerged from underground, they encountered the Domino- a militant group of people intent on organizing humankind, in any way possible. With evolution intervening in some members of the human species due to the arrival of the new moon, they were granted the bloodline gene, cave dwellers and surface dwellers alike. This gene allowed for a second personality to inhabit the mind, being conceived at the same time as the persons' moment of conception. When it speaks, only it's host can hear it and what the host see's, the inhabitant sees as well.
An inner manifestation of who they truly were would be there to offer the most intimate of advice and the ugliest of truths. Or, it will take over the body to preserve its own life. For nothing can be hidden from one that dwells within your mind. And no better comfort can be felt from one who, in spite everything, loves you anyway.
Isaac Brothis, inhabited by the gray wolf Cirgeo and his wife and fellow soldier in arms, Gwendolyn, inhabited by the arctic wolf Kira, both find out that the Domino isn't at all as friendly as they claimed to be on the surface. Over the years they experience a change of heart, deciding to go on the run with their five-year-old son as a last-ditch option. Fighting separate battles within themselves, the couple must work together to do everything they can to protect their family on the road to freedom.
This Bonnie and Clyde supernatural tale is set in a world where an inhabitant could be born from an individual's personality, to live out its days inside of its host's mind. When the hosts breathe, their inhabitant takes that same breath. Can the couple find a balance long enough to survive the nation-wide man hunt with their son in tow, being public enemy's number one and two? Or will they fall victim to their more primitive nature, allowing their claws to dig deep inside heart strings of emotion, severing ties to save oneself?
