Doch mit diesen Möglichkeiten wird auch das Problem der Reizüberflutung größer. Daher setzen Unternehmen immer öfter auf Kooperationen mit Internet Bloggern. Sie schätzen den besonderen, persönlichen Draht der Blogger zu ihren Lesern und der Blogger profitiert von den Produkten des Unternehmens oder erhält sogar eine Vergütung. Diese Strategie klingt zunächst perfekt, aber ist sie das auch aus Sicht der Konsumenten? Die vorliegende Studie widmet sich dem Thema, wie Internet Blogger vergleichend zum elektronischen Word-of-Mouth durch Empfehlungen Einfluss auf den Kaufentscheidungsprozess der Leser nehmen. In einer empirischen Untersuchung mit Hilfe einer Online-Umfrage sollen Ergebnisse zur Konsumentensicht auf diese Thematik gewonnen werden. Dabei wird der Fokus auf die Überprüfung der wichtigen Konstrukte Akzeptanz und Glaubwürdigkeit gelegt. Als theoretischer Hintergrund dienten das Persuasion Knowledge Model sowie die Source Credibility Theorie, anhand derer es möglich war, zielgerichtete Hypothesen für die weitere Untersuchung abzuleiten. Die Probanden wurden per Zufallsgenerator in drei verschiedene Gruppen aufgeteilt. Alle Probanden erhielten einen identischen Text, bei dem zu Manipulationszwecken jedoch Einzelheiten entsprechend der jeweiligen Gruppe abgeändert wurden. Gruppe eins erhielt eine anonyme Rezension, auf deren Basis die Fragen beantwortet werden sollten. Gruppe zwei erhielt einen Blogpost, bei dem die Kooperation mit dem Unternehmen zwar erwähnt, aber verdeckt gestaltet wurde. Gruppe drei erhielt ebenfalls einen Blogpost, dort war die Kooperation aber offensichtlich zu erkennen. Die anschließenden Fragen gestalteten sich wieder für alle Probanden gl
