About the Author: Thomas V. Moore has had a life-long interest in physics and cosmology. To satisfy his interest, he has had to rely on popular explanations, due to his rudimentary mathe-matical ability. Over the years he became discontented with many of the features of standard cosmological models that seemed to be implied by purely mathemati-cal analysis. Since he was excluded from the mainstream of inside-the-box theory, he was forced outside the box and began to ponder explanations of a more simple and direct nature, relying on direct observation and the mar-velous images provided by present day telescopy. The addition of Black Matter to the basic components of the universe provided answers to many questions, while leaving the bulk of work in the field entirely intact. The existing work pertains exclusively to Ordinary Mat-ter and energy, and its conclusions are brilliant and valid. Black Marble Theory merely provides a framework that encompasses this work, and addresses many of its most persistent mysteries. Mr. Moore enjoyed a long career with IBM, working with early big box computers, and eventually doing pio-neering work in the field of interactive media.
