About the Author: During her divorce, Vick Breedy decided to take all of the emotions that she was feeling to pen and paper. At that time, she was a new mom dealing with the challenges that a failed marriage brings. Writing became therapeutic. As a result, Breedy created characters out of the strongest emotions she felt during this difficult period of her life. She self-published her first novel "Bitter". Breedy understood that often times we have to be our strongest, when we feel our weakest. While dealing with divorce and becoming a single parent, Breedy still worked a full-time job dedicated to helping patients with complex medical needs. She also maintained a part-time evening job on weekends, in a shelter that serves homeless young women and children. Breedy worked seven days a week for five years straight to survive financially. Vick Breedy grew up in Massachusetts. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Massachusetts and her Master's Degree from Anna Maria College. She's holds her LSWA and attends conferences each year to maintain her social work license. Helping others during their most vulnerable and challenging times sums up Breedy's entire work history.
