Im Fokus liegen Maßnahmen, um die Generation Y langfristig an ein Unternehmen binden zu können. Hierbei wird auf deren Aspekte Rücksicht genommen. Ziel dieser Ausarbeitung ist es, mögliche Maßnahmen vorzustellen, um Mitarbeiter, mit dem Fokus auf die Generation Y gesetzt, langfristig an ein Unternehmen binden zu können. In Kapitel 2 werden die Begriffe Bindungsmanagement und Generation Y definiert und wichtige Aspekte von letzterem verdeutlicht. In Kapitel 3 werden Umfragen zu Kündigungsgründen ausgewertet. Näher berücksichtigt werden Punkte die einen Zusammenhang mit den Aspekten der Generation Y aufweisen. Unter Verwendung von zwei weiteren Studien wird aufgezeigt, das ein Wiederspruch zwischen Kündigungsgrund und Erwartungen von Bewerbern vorliegen könnte. In Kapitel 4 werden Maßnahmen vorgestellt, die in Unternehmen berücksichtigt werden sollten, um Mitarbeiter langfristig binden zu können. Die Ausarbeitung endet mit einem Fazit. Der demografische Wandel stellt Unternehmen vor neue Herausforderungen. Der Anteil der älteren Menschen nimmt zu, der Anteil der jüngeren Menschen nimmt weiter ab. Seit 1972 gibt es weniger Geburten als Todesfälle. Unternehmen stehen sich mehreren Herausforderungen konfrontiert. Durch den Rückgang der Geburtenrate sinkt auch die Anzahl an Berufseinsteiger bzw. die Anzahl an Bewerber. Aus diesem Grund gewinnt das Bindungsmanagement eine immer wichtigere Bedeutung für alle Unternehmen. Dadurch soll es gelingen, Mitarbeiter langfristig an ein Unternehmen zu binden. Die Generation Y wiederum stellt das Bindungsmanagement vor neue Herausforderungen. Die Bedürfnisse dieser Generation haben sich im Vergleich zu Vorgängergenerationen geändert, weswegen ein Handlungsbedarf für eine langfristige Mitarbe
