About the Author

He cofounded PlanetReuse.com, has written for several industry trade magazines, maintains a blog on construction and BIM topics Dave McCool is Director of Virtual Design and Construction for McCarthy Building Companies, where he manages BIM services for the Southern California division and leads the McCarthy BIM tech committee, which is the guiding coalition for companywide BIM initiatives. He has contributed to the construction of over $1 billion in healthcare and education projects.
