Schulpolitik, Note: 1,7, Universität zu Köln, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ausgehend von unterschiedlichen Missständen des aktuellen Bildungssystems knüpft der erste Teil dieser Arbeit an der fast schon vergessenen Bildungskritik des jungen Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche aus der Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts an. Vor allem die Schriften "Über die Zukunft unserer Bildungsanstalten" und die "Unzeitgemäßen Betrachtungen" liefern hier aussagekräftige Erkenntnisse. Nietzsche beschreibt mit beeindruckendem rhetorischem Gestus die Missstände des Bildungssystems seiner Zeit. Bildung werde als reines Instrument verstanden. Ihr Ziel sei es, "courante Menschen" hervorzubringen, d. h. einen wie eine Münze sich stetig im Umlauf befindenden, jederzeit austauschbaren Massenmenschen. Nationalökonomie und Staat haben auch hier ein großes Interesse an der Ökonomisierung der Bildung und an der Produktion von "Humankapital". Dem Menschen wird so viel Bildung zugebilligt - und so viel wird auch von ihm gefordert - wie für die ökonomischen Staatszwecke nötig. Während Nietzsche die moderne Staatlichkeit verurteilt, sieht er in der antiken Kultur den Weg zur wahren Bildung: "Nicht Grenzwächter, Regulator, Aufseher war für seine Kultur der Staat, sondern der derbe muskulöse zum Kampf gerüstete Kamerad und Weggenosse, der dem bewunderten, edleren und gleichsam überirdischen Freund das Geleit durch rauhe Wirklichkeiten giebt und dafür dessen Dankbarkeit erntet." Im zweiten Teil der Arbeit wird das Bildungsverständnis Adornos und der Kritischen Theorie in den Blick genommen und dem Nietzsches gegenüber gestellt. Immanuel Kant definierte in seiner Schrift "Beantwortung der Frage: Was ist Aufklärung?" den Prozess der Aufklärung als Ausgang des Menschen aus seiner selbst verschuldeten Unmündigkeit.
