Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Note: 1,3, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In der vorliegenden Arbeit soll die Frage geklärt werden, ob gleiche Startchancen durch die Grundschulen geschaffen werden. Dazu werden zunächst die Ziele und Aufgaben der Grundschule vorgestellt. Im zweiten Kapitel wird kurz der Begriff der Chancengleichheit benannt und im Anschluss auf soziale Ungleichheiten eingegangen. Weiter wird ein Erklärungsmodell nach Boudon vorgestellt sowie politische Handlungsansätze. Abschließend wird ein Fazit gezogen. Seit 1920 erhalten alle Kinder, ungeachtet der sozialen und wirtschaftlichen Stellung ihrer Eltern, die gleiche Elementarausbildung und somit die gleichen Startchancen. Die Idee der Chancengleichheit ist geboren. Hinzu kam der Beginn des Bildungsexpansionsschubs mit der Verlängerung der Schulpflichtzeit in den 1960er Jahren. Bei den niedrigen und mittleren Bildungsabschlüssen ist die Berufsausbildung zur Norm geworden und hat sich im Laufe der Zeit ausgeweitet. Damit ist die Zahl der Absolvent: innen mit qualifizierten Berufsabschlüssen gestiegen. Auch die Hochschulwege entwickelten sich, was sich in einem raschen Anstieg der Absolvent: innenzahlen der Sekundarstufe I und einer moderaten Zunahme der Absolvent: innenzahlen von Hochschulen wie Universitäten und Fachhochschulen widerspiegelte. Es stellt sich die Frage wie es rund 100 Jahre nach der Idee der Chancengleichheit und steigenden Möglichkeiten der Bildungsexpansion aussieht. Bieten die Grundschulen gleiche Startchancen für alle Kinder? Würde man sich auf die Ergebnisse der PISA-Studie aus dem Jahr 2000 berufen, so wäre die Idee der Chancengleichheit kläglich gescheitert. In der Studie wurde festgestellt, dass in kaum einem anderen der teilnehmenden Mitgliedsstaaten der Schulerfolg so stark abhängig von der sozialen Herkunft der Eltern ist wie in Deutschland.
