"Eines Nachmittags gegen drei Uhr gingen Petrus und Johannes in den Tempel, um am Gebet teilzunehmen. Als sie hinkamen, wurde gerade ein Mann herbeigetragen, der von Geburt an gelähmt war. Wie an jedem Tag wurde er an den Eingang des Tempels gebracht, der allgemein die "Schöne Pforte" hieß, damit er dort bei den Leuten betteln konnte, die zum Tempelbezirk kamen."

Die Geschichte von Petrus, Johannes und dem lahmen Mann habe ich schon als kleiner Junge gemocht. Da wurde ein über 40 Jahre lang gelähmter Mann zum Tempel getragen. Ein armer Mann. Er musste betteln.
Als junger Mann war ich auch sehr arm. Zumindest aus meiner Sicht gesehen. Ich war das zweite von sieben Kindern und hatte im Vergleich zu Altersgenossen relativ wenig Geld. Wie schaut es bei dir aus? Benötigst du auch etwas mehr Geld? "Als er Petrus und Johannes sah, die gerade den Tempel betreten wollten, bat er auch sie um etwas Geld."

War eine gute Idee, einfach andere Leute um Geld zu fragen. Ich kann mir auch gut vorstellen, dass Petrus und Johannes einen guten und gepflegten Eindruck ausstrahlten. Auf meinen Vater trifft diese Beschreibung auch zu und so bat ich ihn, um eine Taschengelderhöhung. Hast du auch schon einmal jemanden um etwas Geld gebeten? Oder erwartest du, dass jemand dich "sponsert"? Der Staat? Die Gemeinde? Die Eltern? Deine Kinder? Deine Freunde?

"Petrus und Johannes blickten ihn aufmerksam an, und Petrus sagte: 'Sieh uns an!' Der gelähmte Mann blickte erwartungsvoll auf, weil er glaubte, dass er etwas bekäme. Doch Petrus sagte: 'Ich habe kein Geld für dich. Aber was ich habe, gebe ich dir. Im Namen von Jesus Christus von Nazareth: Steh auf und geh!'"

Die Verben sehen, blicken, staunen kommen in dieser Geschichte sieben Mal vor. Es zeigt, dass es viele Aktivität gegeben haben muss. Aber die zwei Hauptaktivitäten sind in der Aufforderung des Petrus und das Befolgen des gelähmten Mannes. 'Ich habe kein Geld für dich. Aber was ich habe, gebe ich dir. Im Namen von Jesus Christus von Nazareth: Steh auf und geh!'
