Nach unseren Erfahrungen und Untersuchungsergebnissen sind die Schuler an bewegten Formen des Lernens sehr interessiert und ihre Lernfreude kann gesteigert werden. In der Einleitung wird die Bedeutung der Bewegung fur die Entwicklung von Kindern und Jugendlichen erlautert sowie die Strukturierung der Auswahlkriterien vorgestellt. In die sich anschlieaende Sammlung von Beispielen sind umfangreiche Erfahrungen, Ideen und Erganzungen vor allem von den Kollegen der Projektschulen 'Bewegte Schule', Fachdidaktikern, Studenten und Referendare eingeflossen. Die didaktisch-methodischen Empfehlungen zeigen Konkretisierungen fur bewegtes Lernen im Geografieunterricht der Klassen 5 bis 10/12 mit folgenden Zielstellungen auf: - Zusatzliche Informationszugange sollen erschlossen werden, z. B. durch das Wahrnehmen der Funktion der Korperorgane uber Bewegung, das Erkennen von Zusammenhangen zwischen Bau und Funktion des Bewegungs- und Stutzapparates durch Bewegungshandlungen oder Darstellen von Situationen zur gesunden Lebensweise sowie okologischen Sachverhalten in Stegreifspielen. - Die Informationsverarbeitung kann optimiert werden durch das Zuordnen von Tieren und Pflanzen beim Zuspielen eines Balles, das Erortern von Pro- und Kontrapositionen beim Gehen im Raum oder das Bestimmen und Erlautern von Tieren und Pflanzen verbunden mit dem Wechsel der Platze. - Bewegtes Lernen hilft auch Haltungskonstanz zu vermeiden und kann die Lernfreude steigern. Des Weiteren sollen die Schuler zunehmend selbststandig Lernen mit Bewegung verbinden, neue Varianten suchen und mit einem Partner zusammenarbeiten.
