Beurteilung der Beanspruchung von Elektrodenkappen beim Widerstandspunktschweissen von hoher- und hochstfestem Stahl Kurzfassung Die Moglichkeit zur Reduzierung der thermischen Beanspruchung der Elektrodenkappen durch die Erhohung der Kuhlwasserdurchflussmenge wird durch Reihenschweissungen an hoherfestem Stahl verifiziert. Eine Vergrosserung der abgefuhrten Warmeenergie uber das Kuhlwasser infolge einer Volumenstromerhohung wird ermittelt. Mit abnehmendem Volumenstrom ergeben sich zum Ende von Reihenschweissungen geringere Schweisslinsendurchmesser. In Reihenschweissungen mit halbgefrasten Elektroden ergeben sich bei gleicher Parametrierung grossere Endlinsendurchmesser. Die Auswirkung der Durchflussmengenanderung auf die Arbeitsflachenverformung wird durch Standmengenversuche beim Widerstandspunktschweissen von pressgehartetem Stahl validiert. Die in der internationalen Literatur bisher nichtbekannte Verschleisserscheinungsform der Plateaubildung wird analysiert. Die Entstehung des Plateaus zeigt innerhalb der Standmengenversuche keine Korrelation zur Durchflussmenge des Kuhlwassers. Mit der Messmethodik der Strahlungsmessung am Halbschnittmodell ist es erstmalig moglich die Temperaturen im Bereich der Elektrodenarbeitsflache wahrend des Widerstandspunktschweissprozesses zu ermitteln. Beim Widerstandspunktschweissen von pressgehartetem Stahl werden im Vergleich zu hoherfestem verzinkten Stahl, trotz Erzeugung gleicher Schweisslinsendurchmesser, hohere Temperaturen ermittelt. An eingeschweissten Elektrodenkappen werden im Vergleich zu Elektroden im ungenutzten Zustand hohere Arbeitsflachentemperaturen gemessen. Durch die Strahlungsmessung am Halbschnittmodell wird die Auswirkung des Peltier-Effekts mit verschlissenen Elektrodenkappen erstmalig beim Widerstandspunktschweissen von Stahl visualisiert. Neben der Ermittlung der Elektrodenkappentemperatur eignet sich die Messmethodik der Strahlungsmessung am Halbschnittmodell zur Visualisierung der Warmeentwicklung in der Fugezone. Die innerhalb der Arbeit formulierten Massnahmen zur Steigerung der Lebensdauer von Elektrodenkappen beim Widerstandspunktschweissen sind technisch belastbar. Diese Arbeit leistet einen erheblichen Beitrag zur Steigerung der Wirtschaftlichkeit der Widerstandspunktschweisstechnik.
