Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich BWL - Unternehmensführung, Management, Organisation, Note: 2,0, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Veranstaltung: Lohn und Leistung, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Einleitung Durch die Änderung des Betriebsverfassungsgesetzes von 2001 haben sich in Deutschland viele neue Betriebsratsstrukturen entwickelt. Da diese nicht alle im Einzelnen dargestellt werden können, soll sich im Rahmen dieser Arbeit auf drei Betriebsratsformen und ihre Möglichkeiten in Bezug auf die Lohnfindung beschränkt werden. In Kapitel 1 wird zunächst einmal der normale Betriebsrat in deutschen Unternehmen vorgestellt. Kapitel 1.1 beschäftigt sich mit der Frage inwieweit dieser Betriebsrat Einfluss auf die Löhne der Mitarbeiter hat und in Kapitel 1.2 sollen die anderen, wichtigen Aufgaben eines Betriebsrates vorgestellt werden. Kapitel 1.3 beschäftigt sich mit der Frage, wer für die durch den Betriebsrat aufkommenden Kosten zu zahlen hat und Kapitel 1.4 erläutert die wesentlichen Veränderungen in Bezug auf Betriebsräte nach der Reform von 2001. In Kapitel 2 sollen dann die Gesamtbetriebsräte vorgestellt werden. Gesamtbetriebsräte schließen sich aus mehreren Betriebsräten eines Unternehmens (oder einer Sparte) zusammen, um so alle Mitarbeiter gemeinsam vertreten zu können und auch einen guten Informationsaustausch zwischen den einzelnen Betrieben des Unternehmens zu gewährleisten. Informationen weiterzugeben ist auch die Hauptaufgabe eines Europäischen Betriebsrates, welcher in Kapitel 3 näher vorgestellt wird und dessen Einführung nicht ohne Probleme vonstatten ging (Kapitel 3.1). Aufgaben eines Europäischen Betriebsrates werden in Kapitel 3.2 vorgestellt und in Kapitel 3.3 wird das Praxisbeispiel VW dargestellt. Volkswagen war nämlich das erste, deutsche Unternehmen, welches einen Europäischen Betriebsrat einführte und ist deshalb besonders erwähnenswert. In Kapitel 4, dem abschließenden Fazit, werden dann noch einmal die wichtigsten Aspekte der Arbeit zusamme
