"Hey Kissy what's up?" Nakia barked through the phone.
"Jody hasn't come home again. I am so sick of his shit. I should have known something was up because he was wearing that good cologne, the one that he never wears." I wailed in anger.
"Why didn't you call me?" Nakia questioned me.
"I did but you didn't answer your phone." I whimpered.
"I was occupied with my new beau.
I am sorry bestie." Nakia lied.
Nakia was not apologetic at all. In fact, she was the one keeping Jody out all night long knowing that he had someone waiting at home for him.
No one wants to be cheated on but it is worse when the other woman is your best friend.
I heard a car pulling up in the driveway.
My heart started beating very fast. I
jumped from the couch and ran to the window.
It was my Jody. Thank God he is alive.
"Nakia, Jody, just pulled up. I will talk to you later, girl." I said happily.
"Okay, girl.
Cut the man some slack. Men need space too." Nakia advised me.
Alright, bestie." I chirped.
I decided to take Nakia up on her advice. I rushed upstairs to my bedroom and slipped out of my pink chemise gown and got in my king-sized bed.
By the time Jody got up the stairs. I was pretending to be asleep with my ass in the
air.
I was ready to be fucked out of my mind.
I heard Jody come in but he never made it to our bedroom. He headed straight for the bathroom. Maybe he has to take a quick shit I thought until I heard the shower come on.
My tears fell from my face because I knew that my insecurities were right because my husband had been out all night with his secret lover.
I couldn't wait to get my hands on that bitch. I would take Jody's little trick's life with my bare fucking hands. I just wanted to hear the wench gasping for her last breath.
I was not a violent person but I was not a motherfucking fool either.
Violence was all that I could think of at this point in our relationship. Especially since now, I am pregnant.
