Beim Dieselmotor ist die zeitliche Steuerung der Ölmenge, die aus der Düse des Einspritzventils austritt, für die innige Gemischbildung und den vollkommenen Verbrennungsablauf von wesentlicher Wichtigkeit. Eine möglichst kleine Ölmenge während der Zündverzugsperiode, stetig stei- gende Ölmenge während der Hauptbrennzeit und rasches Schließen der Dü- sennadel ohne Nachtropfen (kein Schnarren der Düsennadel) sind die we- sentlichen Forderungen, die an ein richtiges Einspritzsystem gestellt werden. Bekanntlich pflanzen sich die von Brennstoffpumpen erzeugten Druckstörungen als Druckwellen durch die Leitung zum Einspritzventil fort, wo sie durch Reflexion die Düsennadel in bestimmter Weise bewegen und dadurch den Verlauf der ausströmenden Ölmenge bestimmen. Seit ALLIEvi [1]*) das ähnliche Problem der Schwingungen in den Lei- tungen von Wasserkraftanlagen behandelt hat, wurde im Laufe der Zeit durch eine Reihe von Arbeiten [2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9] auch eine Methode zur Berechnung des Einspritzvorganges entwickelt. Danach wird die pulsierende Strömung der elastischen Ölsäule in der Leitung - nach gewissen Vereinfachungen - auf die Differentialgleichung der schwingenden Saite zurückgeführt, für die man nach D'ALEMBERT die allgemeine Lösung aus rechts- und linkslaufenden Wellen zusammensetzen kann. Je nach Art des Rohrabschlusses (z.B. offenes bzw. geschlossenes Rohrende, Drossel, bewegte Düsennadel u.a.) werden die ankommenden Wellen verschiedenartig reflektiert, wofür jeweils gesonderte Betrach- tungen (bzw. Diagramme) notwendig werden.
