About the Book

Narrator, playwright, literary critic, he managed, especially with his stories and poems, to become one of the most widely read authors on both sides of the ocean for many generations. A Very Discreet Myth illuminates all the edges of this humble writer, who shied from tributes and glory but who has left us a universal work like few others.
