About the Book

Great Reviews Say it ALL! 5.0 out of 5 stars This book changed my perception over horror stories March 9, 2014 By Robert Gibson Format: Kindle Edition From the beginning of this review, I have to mention the fact that I am not such a great fun of horror books. But I was recommended by my brother to read this collection of short stories. He stated that this will change my perception over horror stories. So, I started reading B.E.K. with a bit of 'fear' in my heart, because I was not quite sure that I will enjoy this reading. After finishing the first story (The Boy at the Door), I wasn't even aware that this book has managed to keep me so hooked. The second story was even more amazing. I ended by reading the whole book without taking any break. I noticed one common thing in all these stories: the intrigue is so well crafted, that will raise the interest of the reader to an unusual point. The fact that the action of these stories is fast paced adds even more reading pleasure. I highly recommend this book to all those which have not tried short horror stories until now. 5.0 out of 5 stars A Chilling read that will Make an Adult Sleep with the Lights on! February 9, 2014 By K. Eller Format: Kindle Edition-Verified Purchase This was my first time reading about the BEK Phenomenon. I don't know how I've never come across the subject before, since I am a huge fan of all things both supernatural and alien related but, I know I will be further investigating this subject! The first book I read by Lyn Murray was Blooded: Anunnaki Rising which was one of the best books I have read thus far and one of the longest! I found myself with an afternoon on my hands and decided to check in to see if she had released anything new and Found The BEK - The boy at the Door eBook and it spiked my interest so I decided to see what this was all about! I found it to be not only creepy, but quite interesting as well. She includes Four Short Stories which are based on real events and this alone sends chills down my spine. The encounters are chilling and well documented, but they will have you intrigued long after you read the book. I believe she did a fantastic job with this one, I couldn't put it down. I will say that I won't be going to any ATM's late at night anytime soon...And I will be a little more leery about opening my door as well. I think it was more than worth the .99 price tag and I am really glad I bought it. It just fuels my curiosity even more to do my own research on the subject! If you have ever wondered about the Black Eyed Kids Phenomenon then pick up this book and read these real accounts about people that have had encounters with these sinister beings-Simply Bone Chilling! Thank you for another great read Lyn! Description: BEK? Some say they've been around forever, and that this surge in activity is just a new twist on an old phenomenon. But what are they - really? This entertaining book of Lyn Murray's will explore many possibilities. BEK's (Black Eyed Kids) The Boy At The Door is a collection of short stories, with the title story: BEK focusing on actual events experienced by the author; but the book also includes three other stories - also based upon actual encounters with BEK's: ATM, The Dream and Streetlight Dead. Afterwards, the author includes actual case studies (based upon extensive research by noted authorities, involving real accounts of real people who have encountered BEK's, along with dazzling pictures, speculations and discussions, that guides the reader along an intriguing path of discovery, while hurling them toward a conclusion of chilling possibilities. Winding things up and in keeping with the author's love of Classic Literature - Lyn includes some of her all time favorites, with the hope that you'll fall in love with them, too. All in all - this is a delightful book, with just the right combination of research based chills and Classic Class, that is guaranteed to keep you begging for
