Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Allgemein, Note: 1,0, Pädagogische Hochschule Karlsruhe (Pädagogik), Veranstaltung: Reformpädagogik - John Dewey, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die vorliegende schriftliche Ausarbeitung beschäftigt sich in erster Linie mit den Begriffen "Erfahrung und Erziehung", wie sie von John Dewey in seinen pädagogischen Aufsätzen geformt und beschrieben wurden. Mit Hilfe einer Darstellung von Deweys Verständnis von Erfahrung, möchte ich einen Bezug zum aktuellen Lehrplan 2003 herstellen, in welchem Lehrer in ihrem Tätigkeitsfeld als "Lernexperten" bezeichnet werden, was bedeutet, dass Lehrer Experten sind, oder sein sollen, in allen Fragen des Lernens und Lehrens. Ich möchte mit dieser Hausarbeit eine Verbindung herstellen, zwischen Deweys Erkenntnissen über die absolute Wichtigkeit der Erfahrung im Erziehungsprozess beim Heranwachsenden und dem aktuellen Anspruch des Lehrplans an den heutigen Lehrer, nicht nur Lernexperte zu sein, sondern auch "Kompetenzen" zu fördern, mehr als nur reines Sachwissen. Dafür können Deweys Erkenntnisse einen hilfreichen Denkanstoß geben. Ich kann und werde im Rahmen dieser schriftlichen Arbeit nicht auf alle einzelnen meist philosophischen Auseinandersetzungen Deweys mit dem Thema "Erfahrung und Erziehung" eingehen können, da dies einen weiten Themenkomplex umfassen würde, der den Rahmen dieser Ausarbeitung "sprengen" würde. Diese Arbeit ist der Versuch einer Zusammenfassung von Deweys Gedanken über die Erfahrung und ihre Wichtigkeit im Verlauf des erzieherischen Prozesses und wie diese Erkenntnisse auch heute in den Schulen zu einem "ganzheitlicheren" Lernen führen könnten. Es ist wichtig für den Leser zu wissen, dass Dewey sich von der "traditionell überlieferten" wie auch der für ihn teilweise zu unorganisierten und radikalen "child centered", oder "progressive education" Erziehungsbewegung distanzierte und seine eigene Theorie zur Reform in der Erziehung aufstellte, indem er Vorhand
