Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2017 im Fachbereich Medien / Kommunikation - Journalismus, Publizistik, Note: 1,7, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Parasoziale Interaktionen sind einseitige Beziehungen, welche Mediennutzer zu einem Medienakteur, der sogenannten Persona, eingehen. Dies geschieht dadurch, dass die Persona durch verschiedene Mittel, wie z. B. direkten Blickkontakt oder Ansprache, den Eindruck vermittelt, im Kontakt mit dem Publikum zu stehen. Seitens des Mediennutzers gibt es verschiedene ausschlaggebende Faktoren, welche zu mehr oder weniger stark ausgeprägten PSB führen, z.B. das Bedürfnis nach Zugehörigkeit, oder Erfahrungen, welche die Rezipienten im Kindesalter gemacht haben. Im Verlauf dieser Arbeit wird zunächst genauer darauf eingegangen, was parasoziale Beziehungen ausmacht und wie sie sich von realen oder face to face Beziehungen unterscheiden, sowie die Schwierigkeiten bei der Messung und Einordnung derselben. Des Weiteren wird untersucht, wie Realitätsnähe gemessen werden kann. Unter dem Stichwort "Perceived Realism" finden sich viele Forschungsergebnisse, die Beschreiben, welche Wirkung die wahrgenommene Realität auf Medieneffekte hat, um im Anschluss zu schauen, ob sich Forschungsergebnisse finden, welche darauf schließen lassen, ob die wahrgenommene Realität beim Mediennutzer Auswirkungen auf die parasoziale Interaktion und/ oder Beziehung hat. Viele neuere Studien zu parasozialen Phänomenen beschäftigen sich mit fiktionalen oder non-fiktionalen Mediencharakteren, weshalb in dieser Arbeit auch auf diese Bezug genommen wird, sowie auf verschiedene Studien zu parasozialen Beziehungen mit (animierten) Computerspielfiguren und Avataren. In einem Forschungsüberblick sollen die Ergebnisse der PSB hinsichtlich des Kriteriums Realitätsnähe überprüft werden, und anschließend geschaut werden, ob die realitätsnahe Darstellung eines Medienakteurs zu einer stärkeren oder schwächeren parasozialen Beziehung führt.
