Akademische Arbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Kunstpädagogik, Note: 1,0, Universität Augsburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Wird die Buchillustration zu Recht vernachlässigt oder wurde das Potenzial der Illustrationen in Hinblick auf den Kunstunterricht einfach noch nicht von der Masse erkannt? Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es zu erörtern, inwieweit sich Illustrationen als Medium für den Kunstunterricht in der Primarstufe eignen und welche Kompetenzen durch die Auseinandersetzung mit ihnen gefördert werden können. Zur Förderung dieser herausgearbeiteten Kompetenzen gilt es, Umsetzungsmöglichkeiten für den Unterricht zu erarbeiten. Zu diesem Zweck werden zuerst theoretische Grundlagen über Illustrationen erörtert. Nach einer Begriffs- und Funktionsklärung werden gängige Formen, Darstellungsweisen und Stile herausgearbeitet, welche Aufschluss über die Vielfalt an Umsetzungsmöglichkeiten geben sollen und als Hintergrundwissen für die Bildanalysen in Kapitel 3 dienen. Unter 2.4. wird genauer auf Illustrationen fantastischer Erzählungen eingegangen, da diese Arbeit sich im weiteren Verlauf mit Werken aus verschiedenen 'Alice im Wunderland'- Ausgaben befasst. Diese sind unter der eben genannten Rubrik einzuordnen. Daraufhin wird der Frage nachgegangen, ob Illustrationen 'Eine Kunst zweiter Klasse?' (Punkt 2.5.) sind. Dies dient dem Zweck, den künstlerischen Wert und somit u.a. die Relevanz für die Einbringung in den Unterricht herauszuarbeiten. Es folgt Teilkapitel 2.6. zum Bilderbuch und Abgrenzung von diesem zum illustrierten Buch, um mögliche Unklarheiten über die Unterscheidung beider Varianten auszuräumen. Die Beziehungen zwischen literarischem Text und Bild wird unter 2.7. thematisiert. Das zweite Kapitel wurde mit der Methodik der Literaturanalyse anhand aktueller Fachliteratur erarbeitet. Im darauffolgenden Kapitel finden insgesamt neun Bildanalysen zu drei unterschiedlichen 'Alice im Wunderland' - Ausgaben Platz. Diese dienen der Erörterung verschied
