Durch den Fach- und Führungskräftemangel und das veränderte Mediennutzungsverhalten in Deutschland scheint es, als ob im Bereich Steigerung der Arbeitgeberattraktivität kein Weg an dem Kommunikationsmittel Social Media vorbei führt. Das Thema Employer Branding über Social Media im Krankenhausbereich befindet sich jedoch noch im Anfangsstadium. Um herauszufinden, welche Bedeutung Social Media zur Steigerung von Arbeitgeberattraktivität im Gesundheitswesen aufweist, werden in dieser Studie die 50 größten Krankenhäuser in Nordrhein-Westfalen betrachtet. In einer Befragung soll der Stellenwert dieses Kommunikationsmittels untersucht und die Ist-Situation in den größeren Krankenhäusern in NRW dargestellt werden. Außerdem soll diese Ausarbeitung einen allgemeinen Überblick über das Thema Social Media und Employer Branding geben und aufzeigen, welche Faktoren in einer erfolgreichen Umsetzung beachtet werden müssen.
About the Author: Katrin Herten wurde 1982 in Mönchengladbach geboren. Nach ihrem Staatsexamen als Physiotherapeutin im Jahr 2006 sammelte die Autorin umfassende Kenntnisse in diesem Bereich. Wichtige praktische Erfahrungen machte sie sowohl auf Krankenhausebene als auch in Physiotherapiepraxen und im Bereich des Therapeutischen Reitens. Angetrieben durch die berufliche Weiterentwicklung, absolvierte die Autorin im Anschluss zahlreiche physiotherapeutischen Zusatzqualifikationen: Frau Herten ist Manual Therapeutin und kann Weiterbildungen in Lymphdrainage, PNF, Sportphysiotherapie und Krankengymnastik am Gerät vorweisen. Ihr berufsbegleitendes Studium Gesundheit & Management für Gesundheitsberufe schloss die Autorin im Jahr 2015 mit dem akademischen Grad des Bachelor of Science sehr erfolgreich ab. Geprägt durch ihre Tätigkeit im Gesundheitswesen, entwickelte die Autorin ein besonderes Interesse am prognostizierten Fach- & Führungskräftemangel in Deutschland.
