Guy Von Schilling earned his BS, MEd, and EdD degrees from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was honored as an Outstanding Young Teacher and Outstanding Doctoral Student in the College of Education by Phi Delta Kappa. After being named Outstanding Graduate of the Louisiana National Guard Officer's School, he was awarded the Adjutant General's Sword for Academic Excellence and Leadership.
Dr. Schilling taught life sciences in public schools, was an instructor in Foundations of Education at Louisiana State University, and served as Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and Personnel in the Washington Parish School System.
