About the Book

Mastery of pharmacokinetics is increasingly important. To exercise the best possible judgment in patient care, it is vital that medication plans are selected for the maximum efficacy and safety for each individual patient. Be confident in your approach with ASHP's Basic & Applied Pharmacokinetics Self Assessment. John E. Murphy, author of ASHP's popular clinical reference, Clinical Pharmacokinetics, 5th Edition, brings you practice problems that have been developed over 30 years of teaching pharmacokinetics to thousands of students. With the questions and exercises in Basic & Applied Pharmacokinetics Self Assessment, students and practitioners can gauge their understanding of the foundational concepts. It is a valuable review book, whether you are currently learning the subject or currently practicing and providing patient care. It is designed to test skills for using equations and the application of pharmacokinetic parameters. Companion video material in key areas will help support readers' self-assessment.
