About the Book

Finally, a friendly book to read on the globalization of markets with an Aha moment! Question? Would you go out into the world market and cold call chambers of commerce, businesses, and economic development institutions, for three years? Is finding a solution to economic development your passion? What are the things that are working and not working in attracting investment, developing trade relationship and creating value for SME's worldwide? When was the last time you fully invested your time, resources and education to really understand what is happening in the world market? These are some of the issues that Aldous, personally answered and reflected on with various business executives worldwide. Those were also the real international business issues that Aldous pondered on day in and day out in a course of three years in order to really understand the challenges in the new world market environment and provide VALUE in creative problem solving. Shining a light to a puzzling subject! Aldous Mina, not only wrote about his observations and conversations he also lived many of his interpretation of the new world market environment that is very relevant today. Furthermore, a large amount of his solutions are the typical outside the box thinking that few have thought about. Al's passion from a young age of thirteen was in the international markets which is probably not the most common hobby there is, but he knew from then on that he would be a solution provider to global market development. He consulted with multinational organizations such as the World Bank Group, IMF, UNDP, EBRD, OSCE, Peace Corps, USAID, Oracle, Xerox, and others more to investigate and find a way to influence market development and international trade. Why not now? The solutions may seem deceptively simple and many may say it has been done in the past. Though it may be the case, if not done correctly, timing is off, people implementing not inspired, and lack of cooperation, none of it would come into fruition. Many have failed and millions loss with good intentions. Aldous, have gone through many challenges, set backs and frustrations in his three years investigating the new world market and chronicled his experience in this book.
