About the Book

Trained by the British SAS, a select group of army volunteers are sent to Africa to kill as many elephant and rhino poachers as they can. Having to flee from Africa they are put on a new path, sent around the world searching out and eliminating ivory dealers. After tracking down and eliminating an ivory dealer in Florida they find an Aladdin's cave worth millions of US dollars in gold, silver jewels and cash. This is when things change. The money from the ivory dealer safe enables them to fund a project that will secure their ability to return to Africa as independent conservation, poacher hunting elephant protectors. But this was before MI6 and the British Government pulled the plug on them and their covert mission. Turning them lose they go to the Kenyan government for help. This proves useful when the Kenyan government fund another humanitarian covert mission, but with sinister undertones and another agenda they were unaware of. After re supplying the team with everything they needed for the job, the 8 guys do such a good job, but with revenge in their hearts over the killing of one of their own group they slaughter 50 elephant and ivory poachers, and destroy a bush meat village. Finding out the Kenyan army and their Colonel were taking bribes from the ivory poachers they have a one sided gun battle with 30 Kenyan troops which proves to be useful for them. They were able to take a warehouse full of ammunition and supplies for their own future independent trips. Using dual identifications papers they were able to take diverse undercover routes before returning to England. They would then go to MI6 for help smooth things over with the Kenyan government for them. But that didn't work and they were in danger of being hunted down in their own country. They are forced to go rogue and take the Kenyan ambassador hostage. During an exchange, they release him and do another funded deal with the Kenyans to go back to Africa and help the elephants and protect the ivory from leaving the country. With new secret identities and new passports They have to stop these poachers slaughtering these beautiful elephants. After seeing a movie and now seeing it first hand. Witnessing the slaughter and mutilation of these defenceless animals just for their ivory, the group look on themselves as humanitarians and conservationists. Now based in the USA, they were able to generate enough money from their American enterprise to become rich and independent humanitarians, enabling them to return every six months to their 2 trusted African guides who had taken care of their stash of weapons, vehicles, ammunition, fuel and supplies and keep the number of ivory poachers down to a minimum, making the poachers so scared they would be the ones being hunted. They knew if they were caught these human hunters the "Killer Devils" never left anyone alive and they never will. Their SAS training, their army background, and knowing they were saving the African elephants from curtain mindless, savage slaughter made them even more resolved in their plight to stop all the killing and bring the worlds governments attention to the mindless and worthless slaughter of these precious beautiful animals. The great news was that in 1989 a global ban was put on all international trade of ivory, followed in 2016 in the USA with a near-total ban on commercial African elephant ivory. But because of the Asians, they are still killing the elephants at a rate of 100 every day.Asia is to blame for the tens of thousands of African elephants being slaughtered every year. There is only so much these eight men can do.
