Podria yo decir con afirmativa voz que llegue a conocer a Ruben Dario apenas teniendo 6 anos de edad cuando mi padre me permitio leer de su enorme biblioteca por vez primera la poesia de Ruben Dario, nombre que se me grabo por siempre pues fue mi maestro de la poesia. Su poema el cual aun lo recito de memoria Los Motivos Del Lobo me llevo hasta las orillas del bosque donde de nino pude, desde luego en mi imaginacion, ver al de muy cerca al terrible lobo de Gubia. Cuando Ruben Dario escribio el poema Los Motivos del Lobo el mundo no estaba tan desquiciado como ahora. El poeta nicaraguense no habia inventado, a pesar de sus referencias al hermano Francisco, lo que hoy se conoce como el espiritu de Asis que fuel el nombre adoptado de un proyecto espiritual y ecumenico creado por iniciativa del Papa Juan Pablo II y que fue recogido por la Comunidad de San Egidio, en la archidiocesis de Milan, no solo como un proyecto religioso sino como la propuesta de un nuevo humanismo laico. . Los motivos del lobo siempre han sido los mismos. No tan seraficamente simples como pudo interpretarlos el minimo y dulce Francisco de Asis, cuyo espiritu fraterno rayo en la ingenuidad. El lobo de Gubia tiene hoy diversos nombres, diversas circunstancias y la misma pasion depredadora de aquel que fue metafora de la destruccion y de la muerte. A lo largo de toda la historia de la humanidad ha sido comprobado que convivir es el gran problema. En el mundo contemporaneo el desencuentro entre los hombres es una paranoica realidad de multiples fracturas, ya sea por motivos economicos, etnicos, nacionales o religiosos. La lucha ya no tiene lugar solamente en el choque de civilizaciones sino en el interior de los paises, de las religiones, de la propia familia. El presente es caotico, desordenado, plagado de violencia terrorista, de guerras preventivas, de desastres como el de las Torres Gemelas, el de Atocha o el de la escuela de Osetia. Quien busca el compromiso de la paz y del dialogo es tildado de enemigo de los arabes, de los americanos, de los vascos, de los israelitas, de los rusos, de los chechenos. La misma negra sombra de la muerte planetaria extendiendose como una larga noche de venganza y rencor. Y aunque no sea el fin del mundo, se le va pareciendo. El poema Los Motivos del Lobo probablemente es una metafora religiosa que uso el poeta Ruben Dario para hablar de esa alimana metafisica que es el hombre. El bien no es absoluto. El mal lleva camino de serlo en un mundo enmaranado, irresponsable, vacio de valores y de respeto. Politica y religiones tienen su parte extensa de culpa en ese desquiciamiento de una humanidad globalizada solo en lo economico, no en una cultura de convicciones que conduzca a una unica civilizacion: la de la convivencia pacifica. Mientras eso no ocurra, deberemos resignarnos como el pobre fraile impotente y afligido que elevaba sus preces y sus lagrimas al viento del bosque. Pero en ellibro titulado AZUL la carta que sirve de prologo de Juan Valera a Ruben Dario dice que el analiza su obra como un estilo totalmente frances, su modo de expresion es la prosa y el verso. El sentimiento con es que escribe esta obra es natural; abusa del genero de la retorica y al final le hace una propuesta, mezclar la ilustracion francesa con la alemana, inglesa, italiana y espanola. Sin duda alguna, Ruben Dario es el creador y maximo representante del modernismo, pero tambien el Renacimiento, el Barroco o el Romanticismo cruzan sus versos franceses, parnasianos, simbolistas, asomandose el esteticismo. Su obra es practicamente un homenaje a la Literatura completa, una renovacion, una adaptacion, y, sobre todo, una pura creacion y recreacion personal, unica. Esta corriente la manifiesta como una actitud vital de rebeldia y un afan de renovar los ambitos de la vida y el arte. Supuso una renovacion de la metrica del lenguaje y de los recursos expres
