About the Book

Autism The Fight Inside is a book written to educate young men, and young women of the dangers that form from gangs. The book is about a young man named Austin who suffers from autism. The main character of the story is led astray by a crowd of negativity, and wickedness. The character Hawkboy befriends Austin into thinking he is his only hope. Hawkboy from the beginning only has selfish goals intended for Austin. This book was written to inform young men who suffer from autism to stay away from crowds of wickedness, and corruption. This story is based on real events, and can also be fact checked just to prove it's authenticity. The (CDC) defines (Autism Spectrum Disorder) as a developmental disability. In which 1 in every 42 boys are born with Autism each day, and 1 in every 189 girls are born with Autism each day. A total of 1 in 68 children are born with Autism every day. This book educates young adults of what inside mental hospitals, and correctional centers are like. This book gives personal accounts, and eye witness testimony of one persons experience in the Nebraska State System. Austin the author believes that if a young man is being led astray, and they read his book it will open they're eyes to reality. Which the reality is painful, and damaging if they take the road of destruction, and crime. Austin wrote the book in hopes young men would not follow in his foot steps, and that they would change they're path before it is too late. Austin believes children are the future, and that if misguided they can easily become forgotten. This story also reflects the realities that prison systems of our generation are the new mental health centers of our wake. Forensic hospitals were created for the sole purpose to rehabilitate the criminally insane, and help them recover from doing harm to others so they could return to society with a support system. Instead those who are mentally disabled, and or mentally ill are being sent to prison by the thousands across our country. Austin places research data, and factual findings at the start of some of his chapters. Austin believes that a movement for change needs to take place before this broken system turns against it's self as it already has been. There are countless stories of evil correctional officers committing hennas crimes against inmates with mental disabilities almost every day in some type of news letter. The HuffPost reported that about 1,000 deaths take place in local jails each year. In which these deaths are never reported. In some cases these deaths are caused by the correctional staff neglecting the inmate, and or the correctional staff assaulting the inmate. In many cases correctional officers rap inmates. In 2001 "Human Rights Watch" reported that an estimated 140,000 inmates are raped by correctional officers, and inmates each year with increasing numbers. Not all correctional officers are bad, however with this evidence, and report most correctional officers who do not violate inmates usually turn a blind eye to the violation they are around to stop. Studies have proven that more mentally ill, and or mentally disabled people are ending up in prisons instead of psychiatric hospitals. This book is very educational, and it has been written to educate young men, and women to stay away from drugs, and crime because they only led to prison, and death. Austin felt the need to give back to society to be a change, and a positive movement. Writing this book has helped him overcome his fears, and regrets in his life. Austin hopes his book changes America, and the way the system is ran in Nebraska. "Midwest Book Review," say's "Autism The Fight In Side." Is Original, 'Compelling, ' and an inherently engaging read from beginning to end. "Autism The Fight In Side," is critically important, and highly recommended for both the community, and academic library collections." Those are the words from the "Midwest Book Review." http: //www.midwestbookreview.com/sbw/sep_17.htm#aut
