Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Individuum, Gruppe, Gesellschaft, Note: 1,0, Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg (Institut für Kultur- und Medienmanagement), Veranstaltung: Führungsqualität und Verhandlungsgeschick, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Arbeit soll untersucht werden, ob vom Statusverhalten in der Intergruppenkommunikation auf gruppendynamische Kräfte geschlossen werden kann. Dazu wird im ersten Kapitel dieser Arbeit die Theorie der sozialen Identität von Henri Tajfel und John Turner betrachtet. Dies ist die grundlegende Voraussetzung für den in dieser Arbeit angestellten Rückschluss vom individuellen Verhalten auf Gruppendynamik. Anschließend werden im zweiten Kapitel die gruppendynamischen Phänomene Asch-Effekt, Gruppenpolarisation und groupthink vorgestellt. In Kapitel drei wird das Status-Modell nach Schmitt/Esser erläutert und auf diese gruppendynamischen Phänomene übertragen. Anschließend wird mit Hilfe des Statusmodells die Wirkung dieser Phänomene auf die Intergruppenkommunikation abgeleitet. Wenn Menschen aufeinandertreffen, findet Kommunikation statt. Wechselseitige Kommunikation über einen längeren Zeitraum bildet ein soziales Gefüge. Innerhalb dessen finden sich Menschen bewusst und unbewusst in sozialen Gruppen zusammen und grenzen sich von Gruppen ab. Dabei wirkt die Gruppenzugehörigkeit auf das Verhalten der Gruppenmitglieder, wie sozialpsychologische Studien u.a. zum Gruppendruck, zur Gruppenpolarisation oder zu groupthink nahelegen. Auch das Verhalten zwischen Mitgliedern unterschiedlicher Gruppen (Intergruppenkommunikation) wird durch Gruppendynamik beeinflusst. Im Arbeitsumfeld entstehen soziale Gruppen auch durch das Selbstverständnis der Gruppenmitglieder als Team, Abteilung oder Sparte. Ist dies einerseits in der Personalführung intendiert, um nötigen Teamgeist zur Umsetzung von Gruppenzielen zu entwickeln, kann es andererseits auch zu Konflikten führen.
