Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich BWL - Beschaffung, Produktion, Logistik, Note: 1,0, Hamburger Fern-Hochschule, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Der Internetumsatz von Waren und Dienstleistungen hat sich im Jahre 2005 in Deutschland auf etwa 18,1 Mrd. Euro erhöht. Die Online-Versandhäuser rechnen dabei mit einem Umsatzsprung von 25% auf über 6 Mrd. Euro. Bereits heute erzielen sie etwa ein Drittel ihres Umsatzes online. Dieser Anteil wird nach Schätzungen bis zum Jahre 2010 auf rund 50% ansteigen. Allein gute Produkte zu produzieren reicht aber im Zeitalter des E-Commerce nicht mehr aus. Internetkunden gelten angesichts des weltweiten Angebots als wenig loyal. Nur schnell belieferte und zufriedene Kunden bleiben treu. Die Ansprüche der Online-Händler und ihrer Kunden an die Logistik sind deshalb hoch. Aufgabe der E-Logistik ist es deshalb zum einen die Waren umzuschlagen, zu transportieren und termingerecht an den Kunden zu liefern. Aufgabe ist aber zum anderen auch die optimale Steuerung des Informationsflusses entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette (Supply Chain), die Integration der notwendigen Soft- und Hardware in den Unternehmen sowie die Abwicklung des elektronischen Zahlungsverkehrs. Diese komplexe Aufgabe stellt die E-Logistik vor ganz neue Anforderungen. Die verfügbaren Konzepte und Systeme im ELogistik- Bereich sollen deshalb in der folgenden Arbeit beschrieben und diskutiert werden. Wegen der Komplexität des Untersuchungsgegenstandes und des begrenzten Umfangs der Arbeit, muss sich diese auf einige wesentliche Faktoren konzentrieren. Aufgrund der Vielschichtigkeit des Themas ist es notwendig, nach der Problemstellung im zweiten Kapitel, wichtige Begriffe im Logistik-Umfeld wie E-Commerce, Supply Chain Management und E-Logistik zu definieren. Dass insbesondere die Definition des Begriffs E-Logistik in der Literatur nicht eindeutig ist, liegt zum einen am permanenten technischen Fortschritt in diesem Sektor, der eine kontinuierliche Anpassung d
