Das Produktspektrum der Firma umfasst Geräte für die Simulation von Wärme-, Kälte-, Feuchte-, Vakuum- und Lichtumgebungen. Es gibt Geräte, die Simulationen einer Größe wie auch Kombinationen beherrschen. Wesentliche Produktmerkmale sind ein großes Leistungsspektrum und sehr gute Regelpräzision. Die derzeit vorhandenen Systeme decken einen Temperaturbereich von -70°C bis 300°C ab. Für jeden Hersteller von Simulationsschränken ist die Minimierung von Wärme- und Kälteverlusten von großer Bedeutung. Verluste werden in konstruktionsbedingte und die vom Wärmedämmmaterial abhängige Verluste unterteilt. Zur Minimierung der wärmedämmmaterialabhängigen Kälte- und Wärmeverluste werden Wärmedämm- materialien mit den folgenden Eigenschaften gesucht: Die Verluste müssen möglichst gering gehalten werden. Daraus folgt dass die ins System eingebrachte Energie minimiert wird. Dieses kann durch eine niedrige Wärmeleitfähigkeit erreicht werden. Darüber hinaus führt eine aus einer niedrigen Wärmeleitfähigkeit resultierende kleinere Dämmschichtdicke zu einer kompakten Bauweise der Geräte. Die Wärmedämmung muss heute und für zukünftige Projekte im gesamten Temperaturbereich von -100°C bis +300°C einsetzbar sein. Im Einzelfall kann dieser Temperaturbereich bei bestimmten Geräteklassen eingeschränkt werden (Wärmegeräte 5-300°C). Falls die Wärmeleitfähigkeit temperaturabhängig ist, darf sie von -100°C bis +300°C nur geringe Erhöhungen aufweisen.
