While time is nonexistent in the Realm, its relevance to Beacon-12's past, present and future are essential. Realm-time is a constant. About the Author: The author's namesake comes from a long line of American patriots. His forefathers, the Goodenowe family, sailed in 1638 upon the good ship CONFIDENCE of London, to the shores of Cape Cod, settling in Barnstable, MA in 1639. One early ancestor on these shores, by marriage to either Jane or Lydia Goodenowe, was Gov. William Bradford. A later ancestor, Captain Phineas Beardsley, fought in the Revolutionary War. The author, a graduate of a Western university, received his Bachelors in Business Administration, 1975, and his Masters of Public Administration, 1981. He worked until retirement in both the Private and Public arenas, assisting in the publication of several works in Public Service, one of which won high awards. He has written for Public Administration Review (PAR). He also publishes poetry and numerous on-line, free-lance articles. He volunteers in several capacities in the local community and regularly attends a local house of worship. In earlier years, he was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. He participated in the International Air Cadet Exchange, receiving the coveted, all expenses-paid, six-week tour as a cadet ambassador to a European nation. He later became a Senior member of the CAP, then served honorably in the United States Air Force. Our author takes to writing naturally. In publishing this work and those to follow, the author achieves his life-long dream - emulating those whom have gone before him: A recent ancestor, a Great-Uncle by the surname of Belasco, co-authored Madam Butterfly, among other prestigious works and built the Belasco theater. While on tour, the infant child, slept in the 2nd drawer in an old-style steamer trunk. That child was the father to the author of this subject book: Aura War of 2012. Our author's children both graduated prestigious Western universities with honors. One holds a prominent position with a well-known software security firm, has married, and given him grandchildren. The other is a high-level Human Resources candidate. Recently, one of our author's own brothers received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math & Science. Another brother was a heroic forest firefighter.
