My first book, 'As the Sun Rose to Kiss the Moon Good Night', turned out to be a chunky, 440+ pages, . Having plans of writing a second book, as a continuance, I got the idea to divide the 1st book into 2 . The titles of these two were named -; 'As the Sun Rose to Kiss the Moon Good Night 1. Matteo, (3rd Edition) and As the Sun Rose to Kiss the Moon God Night 2. Lorenzo. (3rd Edition) It is do-able to read each book separately, however, now that the third book, 'As the Sun Rose to Kiss the Moon Good Night 3. Izobel (2nd Edition), has been published, the three books do fit nicely together, for a clearer understanding of the story, as each character grows, throughout.
'As the Sun Rose...1. Matteo', starts with Laura's (I am Laura) background, a very unpleasant childhood, and her even more unpleasant first marriage, at a far to young age. A divorce becomes inevitable, when Laura, in her abusive, loveless marriage, falls in love with Ethan, a young man who lives across the road. Laura's husband does not take her feelings for the other, seriously, which is a big mistake on his part, since it turns out, that Ethan is also in love with Laura. This connection goes bad quickly, due to Ethan's one night stand, who became pregnant a and was suicidal! Laura takes a short vacation in Italy, where she meets her soulmate, the Italian-Brazilian 'Greek god', Matteo, who owns a golden Lamborghini. Together, they have a beautiful daughter, Danielle In 'As the Sun Rose...2. Lorenzo', Matteo has died, likewise Izobel, Laura's mother-in-law. Father-in-law Lorenzo is devastated, and is on the verge of suicide. The family elders call Laura back to Italy, from Denmark, hoping that her presence will stop him. Lorenzo and Laura fall in love, and find happiness together, get married and have a set of adorable twins. After over one year, Matteo walks in the door of the Rossetti mansion, very much alive! He is brokenhearted, to find Laura and his father married Then the twin babes die of pneumonia. Lorenzo, who has been in bad health for many years, dies after a massive stroke. It was Lorenzo's wish, that Matteo and Laura should find each other again.
In 'As the Sun Rose...3. Izobel' An attempt to move on is made, by Matteo and Laura; the two purchase a Sailboat, and set out with their dearest friends, Rosa and Luigi, on a six months vacation, hoping to refresh their hearts and heads. They sail into the port of Cartagena, Spain, where they, while sight-seeing, come across some people, whom they had not anticipated ever to see again. Unsettling events, occur, causing great turmoil before Laura and Matteo finally find peace. For now, I don't have plans of writing more about the Rossetti family.
