He is Professor and Head, Department of English (S & H Dept.) at Ganapathy Engineering College, Warangal (A.P.). He has had rich experience in the field of teaching: English Language and English Literature for more than three decades. He has been handling the subjects: The Age of Milton, Modern British Poetry, Indian English Literature, the History of English Language, The Structure of Modern English, The Use of English, Linguistics, English Language Teaching in India, and American Literature both in Kakatilya University (Warangal) and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University (Regional Study Circle, Warangal). As a student, he was good at studies. He won encomiums of his teachers as he proved his academic excellence of his teachers as he proved his academic excellence and stood first in every class and so won the merit scholarship every year of his school and college studies. He obtained M.A from Osmania University, Hyderabad, M.Phil and Ph.D from Kakatiya University, Warangal. He, as a student had perseverance, strived hard to pursue his studies since he belonged to a poverty-stricken middle class family. As a researcher, he worked on Movement Poetry for his M.Phil and on time in the poetry of Philip Larkin for his Ph.D in Kakatiya University, Warangal. He is currently working on Grammar for his post-doctoral research, dealing with inconsistencies and inadequacies in traditional grammars. As a writer, he published the book entitled The Poetry of the Philip Larkin: a Critical Study (Prestige Publishers, Delhi, 2007) and a book of grammar: GRAMMAR (School of Distance and Continuing Education, Kakatiya University, Warangal, 2008). His other works on ELT: English Language Laboratory, Learn English through Conversation, The Dictionary of Grammatical Terms; English at Our Doorstep, Copious Expressions to Learn English, Correct and Appropriate Usage and The Art of Speaking: the Gift of Gift and the Skill of Skills (For Engineering Students) are under consideration for publication. As a research supervisor, he has been guiding the research scholars of different universities. Nine scholars have pursued research for their M.Phil under his supervision.
